Counselling and Psychotherapy are very similar. Counselling can help you address issues by noticing patterns of behaviour and links with emotions. Counsellors can help you to set goals and formulate new ways of thinking and counselling can also teach you coping strategies. Psychotherapy is considered to be a "deeper" level of therapy, which examine our subconscious reasons for a behaviour, feeling or thought.

Psychotherapists will often examine the past and how the client interacts with the psychotherapist in order to help their client.
A psychotherapist or counsellor will be able to notice patterns and themes that a client is unaware of and be skilled at dealing with their emotions. Counselling and Psychotherapy skills, along with Clinical Hypnosis and NLP are used Integratively here at Mind's Eye Therapy.
